Since 1937, BBC Sport has been the definitive home of the UK’s most iconic sporting moments. This project serves as a visual journey through that heritage, spanning from the grass courts of Wimbledon to the global stage of the Olympics.

The Challenge: To marry disparate archival footage with a modern and cohesive visual identity.

The Solution: Using bold typography and high energy transitions to bridge the gap between historic broadcasts and the fast paced nature of modern digital sports content.

This project is a personal creative exercise produced for portfolio and recruitment purposes only. All archive and broadcast footage, as well as the musical score, remain the property of their respective owners and the BBC. No copyright infringement is intended, and this work is not for commercial use. This project is in no way affiliated with the BBC or BBC Sport.

Full Circle Moment

My connection with BBC Sport actually started back in 2013. While working as a photographer for a Superbike team at the Isle of Man TT, one of my action shots was selected and featured in a BBC Sport editorial piece. Seeing my work on the platform back then was a massive milestone and it is a standard I have aimed to maintain throughout my career in motion and stills.
