Tap House Manchester offers a unique, self-serve craft beer and pizza experience. My role was to develop a visual language that felt as modern and interactive as the venue itself, moving beyond 2D design to create tangible, 3D representations of the brand in the real world.

The Challenge: To design a cohesive set of physical assets—including takeaway packaging and cup designs—and present them with a high degree of realism. I also needed to develop a set of brand characters that could be adapted for different marketing campaigns throughout the year.

The Solution: I used Blender to build accurate 3D models of the cups and pizza boxes, allowing me to test how the graphics wrapped around the forms and interacted with lighting. In addition to the structural design, I illustrated a series of playful brand characters, including a bespoke set of Christmas-themed designs to drive seasonal engagement. This combination of 3D visualisation and character work ensured the Tap House identity felt dynamic and ready for any platform.

3D Product Visualisation & Mock Ups

Moving away from generic templates, I used Blender to create custom 3D models for the takeaway cups and pizza boxes. This allowed for a more professional presentation, showing exactly how the branding sits on physical materials.

Character Illustration

To give the brand a distinct personality, I created a cast of illustrated characters. These were designed to be versatile, featuring in everything from social media assets to physical point-of-sale materials, including a festive “Christmas Edition” series.
